Return to School Arrangements

Uniform Shop:

The restrictions mean our uniform shop will be driveway service only. Please place any orders ahead of time via Flexischools. An alternative method will be to email the attached order form to pandc@northviewss.eq.edu.au. The driveway service will be open from 1.30pm to 4pm Friday 4th February. Credit card payments will be available. From next week, the uniform shop hours will be as usual from 8:30am Mondays and Fridays, but they will only be able to facilitate collection of pre-ordered uniform items.

Please contact Jodie Whitby on 04 6621 0256 for any enquiries regarding the uniform shop.

Dropping off students (February 7 - March 4):

We are asking all parents to stay off site as much as possible to prevent further spread of COVID.

Here are the arrangements we will put in place from Only Prep and Year 1 parents will enter the school grounds to take their children to their classrooms. All other parents please use the stop drop go as usual, or walk your children to the front gate. We ask parents not to remain at the school gate, as this makes social distancing very difficult, and is likely to lead to further spread of COVID.

Picking up students (February 7 - March 4): For the first four weeks, we need to limit adults on site. Here are our arrangements for collecting students at the end of the day.

1. Best option: Please use the Stop Drop Go whenever possible. Please be aware that this will increase traffic, so we appreciate your patience!

2. Second-best option: If you are comfortable making arrangements to avoid coming to school to collect your children (e.g., children travel home independently, neighbour and friendship groups share collection duties), please do so.

3. If all else fails: Since there is no-where for parents to wait outside the school safely with appropriate social distancing, we will be allocating collection zones on the school grounds for those parents who must come in person to collect students.

Attached is a map showing classrooms (in black), and collection zones for those classes (in red). We will have signs out on Monday to show you where to wait. While waiting onsite, people will be required to wear a mask and socially distance. Teachers will bring their classes to the designated collection point. If you have multiple children, please make arrangements with them about going to one collection point to avoid you having to move around to multiple points. We will have staff and signs on site to help with the process, so don’t worry!
